Angelica Leyva, Environment Program Officer
As the Environment Program Officer, Angelica manages ICF’s environment program of grants, agency funds, and special projects in the Gulf of California, Meso-American Reef and the Eastern Pacific Tropics. Her projects focus on increasing access to clean, potable, safe, and recreational water for all communities and marine life; restoring and stewarding the sustainable management of the biodiversity of wild lands; and strengthening meaningful involvement of communities in the development and implementation of environmental laws, regulations, zoning, and policies.
She is passionate about ICF’s mission. Since 2013, Angelica has worked for ICF in many capacities, where she established ICF’s core grantmaking processes.
Angelica is currently finishing her J.D. degree at Willamette University College of Law. She holds a Paralegal Studies Certificate and B.A. degree in Political Science and Spanish from the University of San Diego. In her free time, Angelica enjoys hiking and spending time with her family and friends.
