MEET THE TEAM
Gabriela Anaya, Baja California Sur Environment Representative
As an advisor, Gaby serves as a thought partner to help ICF identify opportunities, priority projects, and strategic partnerships in the Baja California Peninsula.
Gaby works with foundations and citizen networks addressing environmental problems and opportunities in Mexico and Latin America. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Mexican Fund for the Conservation of Nature, one of the largest environmental funds in Latin America, and the Center for Civic Collaboration, a non-profit organization aimed at promoting a culture of dialogue, collaboration, and peaceful resolution of conflicts in Mexico. Gaby chairs Fondo Noroeste, a regional fund whose mission is to support and enable biodiversity conservation in Northwest Mexico through funding, capacity building, and the articulation of efforts.
Gaby holds a Masters Degree in Marine Management from Dalhousie University in Canada and has completed other graduate studies in environmental policy and the social dimensions of natural resources management.
She has a soft spot for the ocean and loves living in La Paz with her daughter and pets.
