Jackie Rivas-Landaverde
Director of Grants & Systems
Jackie Rivas-Landaverde joined the International Community Foundation in May 2019 as a Program Assistant. She was promoted to Grants Manger in May 2020, and is now the Director of Grants & Systems. She provides support to various programs and takes the lead on providing appropriate technical and systems support to grantees and programming staff in the development and implementation and learning associated with all aspects of the foundation’s grantmaking process.
Jackie has more than 10 years of experience in the nonprofit sector with a focus on public health research and community development. She previously worked as a Research Associate for UCSD’s Moores Cancer Center and UCSD’s Pediatrics Department where she provided critical support to project management, donor relations, strategic planning, and grant writing efforts.
Jackie holds Master’s in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego and a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in Ethnic Studies and Psychology from the University of California, San Diego.
Jackie’s passion is helping community leaders and nonprofits partners achieve transformational growth to best serve their community. She is happily married to her spouse, Noemi Rivas-Landaverde. During her free time, she enjoys discovering new restaurants, visiting local breweries, and spending time with her three dogs. She is also an avid music lover and LGBTQIA+ advocate.
