ICF Co-Sponsors Inaugural Gastronomical Festival in El Triunfo, BCS

On November 19th, 2016, ICF co-sponsored the 1st Annual El Triunfo Gastronomic Festival to raise funds for infrastructure repairs which will bolster the economic revival of El Triunfo, in Baja California Sur, Mexico. The Festival was a great success and the 250+ attendees enjoyed culinary creations from 11 of the most popular restaurants in the Baja Sur region, as well as wine tastings, live entertainment, and an 'Adopt-a-Brick' Campaign to raise funds needed for the restoration of the historic 'La Ramona' smokestack. 'La Ramona' is an emblem of El Triunfo's prosperous past when it was the hub of the mining industry in the Baja Peninsula. Between ticket sales and Brick Adoptions, over $10,000 were raised towards the $160,000 goal. Read more in The Baja Citizen and BCS Noticias.

You can still support the Adopt-A-Brick Campaign to help ICF and local partners start the restoration work in January 2017. One brick is a $50.00 U.S. tax-deductible donation. Every brick counts!
