Jesse G. Smith
Finance Analyst
As the Development Associate and Border Coordinator, Jesse G. Smith serves as a key member of the development team by processing gifts, managing profiles, gift acknowledgments, and supporting donor engagement and fundraising efforts. He also helps coordinate ICF’s border related programmatic work on migration, food security and environment to strengthen relationships with and deepen impact of local partners in the Baja California-California border region who share a vision of a more just, equitable, sustainable, and resilient California/Mexico border region.
He joined the International Community Foundation in October 2021. Jesse has over 9 years of experience as a Financial Manager successfully helping eJungle Corp. to reach their goals. In addition, he served as a coordinator for thousands of unaccompanied migrant children from different nationalities who crossed the border and helped them reunite with their families in the USA.
Jesse is a graduate of CETYS University where he received a B.A. in Business Administration and a Minor in Marketing by Universidad Complutense de Madrid en Spain. Previously, he received a B.A. in International Business from UABC, and in addition he owns an associate degree in Computer Science.
Jesse has a passion for the region of California-Baja California and its communities. He is an enthusiastic, multicultural individual living in San Diego, where he enjoys traveling, golfing, getting to know more cultures. He loves his mom and being with his family.
