Lilian Amarillas
Operations & Engagement Manager
Lilian joined the International Community Foundation in November 2021 as the Office Manager and was recently promoted to Operations & Engagement Manager. As the Operations & Engagement Manager, she is responsible for supporting the day-to-day office operations and providing administrative support to the CEO and board of directors. She manages the oversight for the office administration, human resources, accounts payable, and property management.
Lilian brings over five years of professional, customer service experience across the government, private and nonprofit sectors. Prior to ICF, Lilian worked for the Employment Development Department where she assisted unemployed seeks jobs and file for UI benefits. She has worked at the YMCA as a Site Supervisor for the Character Builders program. She was also an AmeriCorps member at MAAC which is where her love for empowering her community ultimately started.
Lilian holds a Master’s in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the University of San Diego, and B.A. in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Science from San Diego State University. Lilian’s hobbies include painting, baking, and spending time with her family and pets.
