RECAP: ICF’s ‘Food Security Reception’ for San Diego Area Donors
On Sunday, September 18th, in honor of National Hunger Awareness Month & the start of the harvest season in Baja California, ICF friend Marcie Rothman hosted an intimate dinner discussion of ICF’s Food Security program. ICF Baja California Sur Food Security Coordinator, Joel Mendez, shared ICF’s ambitious plans to establish the region’s first Food Rescue Center in Los Cabos, and expand the community kitchen & garden model to 6 sites in 2017.
